A date has now been secured for a return to the August Bank Holiday Monday Fair at Gateshead International Stadium on MONDAY 26th AUGUST 2024
Over 150 stands of ceramics, glass, vintage linen, furniture, home furnishings, paintings, silver, militaria, books and much more from dealers across the North of England and Scotland.

Colin Caygill Events are pleased to announce that a new venue has been found for the Durham Antiques and Vintage Fair.
The first Antiques Fair in Durham began in 1980’s at Durham University Sports Centre, then, to accomodate demand the event was moved New College Durham.
Now post covid, we are delighted to move to a purpose built entertainment venue at Rainton Arena, Mercantile Road Houghton Le Spring Dh4 5PH
With good road links from A1/A690, extensive parking, easy exhibitor unloading and catering provided all day in house by Rainton Arena.
The first event will be Sunday 16th July 2023

Government guidance has come far too late to save the New Year’s Day Fair at Gateshead Stadium.
Due to Covid concerns and self isolation, exhibitors have cancelled in numbers large enough to make the event a non starter.
Therefore, we have had no choice but to cancel the New Year’s Day Fair this Saturday 1st January 2022

Dealers from across the North of England and Scotland will be here with up to 180 stands of home furnishings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, militaria, silver, furniture, vintage linen, pictures and prints.
After 18 long months, we now have a green light from Wentworth Leisure Centre, Hexham, Northumberland and we will be returning on Tuesday 14th September 2021 with our popular mid week Antiques and Vintage Fair.

Dear All,
Just to let you know we are still here and waiting for the green light from the government regarding indoor events with large group gatherings.
It has been a very long time…no doubt you are all as frustrated as we are….but hopefully there is light at the end of this long Covid tunnel and we can get back to re-acquainting ourselves once again with fellow exhibitors, visitors and even the organiser himself!
When we have some positive news and our indoor venues are able to take bookings once more we will let you know, but at the moment we cannot give you any speculative dates.
Obviously things are going to be a little different when we do return, but we will address those issues as they arise.
